Connect an AI assistant to Orbix360
Let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor build and edit your tours for you.
You can connect an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your Orbix360 account. Once connected, you can ask it in plain words to build a tour from your 360° photos, link the rooms, add notes, choose how each photo opens and give you the share links.
What an assistant can and cannot do
An assistant can create, rename and delete tours, add 360° photos, rename and reorder photos, look at a photo, add navigation and info hotspots and flat images, set the view each photo opens on, and get the share and embed links. It works within your plan's limits, just like you do in the web app.
An assistant cannot buy anything, start or cancel a subscription, or change your account settings.
Connect in a few steps
- In your assistant, add a new connector (or MCP server) and paste the Orbix360 address shown on the developer page.
- A browser window opens on Orbix360. Sign in if asked, check the app name and what it will be allowed to do, and choose Allow.
- Back in your assistant, ask for something, for example: “Make a tour called Lake House from these photos and link the rooms.”
Some tools, like scripts, use a personal access token instead. You can create one on Account → AI Tools / MCP. It is shown only once, so copy it straight away.
Tips
- Don't edit the same tour in the Orbix360 editor while your assistant is working on it. Saving in the editor overwrites the assistant's changes.
- Assistants are asked to check with you before deleting anything, and deleting a tour needs its exact name.
Disconnect an assistant
Go to Account → AI Tools / MCP. Under Connected apps, choose Revoke next to the app. For a personal access token, choose Revoke next to the token. The assistant loses access on its next request.
For step-by-step instructions for each assistant and the full list of tools, see the developer page.
